Workout for 12 September 2016

Today is 2.5 weeks post op after my butt liposuction, and the 6th time back to the gym.  Here’s today’s workout:

  • 3×12 squats using the TRX straps for stability
  • 3×12 bench press at 20kg on the smith machine (laying down for the 1st time since surgery)
  • 3×15 cable fly at 5kg
  • 3×12 one arm rows with 12kg kettle bell
  • 3×12 reverse fly at 2.5kg on the seated row machine
  • 3×15 dumb bell side arm raises at 3kg
  • 3×15 calf press at bodyweight on the leg press machine

Afterwards I walked/jogged for 25 minutes, 6 of which were jogging (c25k program).  I do need to pick up new jogging shoes badly, so I’m doing that tonight.

Unfortunately though, it looks like I’m losing strength.  I don’t know if it’s too much estrogen being released because of the liposuction (it was almost 8 liters) or if it’s my birth control totally and completely binding my free testosterone again (it did that a few years ago after 2 years on the euro version of yaz).  So its off to the gyno to see what new types of pills are on the market.  Joy.
