Day 1 post op
Day 1 post op means getting myself out of bed after a (usually) rough night of leaking all over the hotel room, showering, getting bandages changed, getting fresh clothing put on, checking out of the hotel and making a mad dash to see my surgeon.
After the post surgery appointment I then maneuver my way into the car for the 2 hour drive home and then sometime after that get myself back into the car for my MLD (manual lymph drainage appointment) before then being able to blissfully just chill on the couch or in bed till the next day.
