Keto Diet for Lipedema

For years I’ve been eating a keto diet, but since I’ve started my liposuction this year, I’ve fallen off the band wagon.  I’ve just gotten so bloody tired of tracking, weighing, measuring, writing down and recording every gram of food that goes into my mouth that I wanted to eat normally again.

The good news is I haven’t gained any weight doing this, though my stomach issues have come back and I can feel a bit of swelling in my fingers.  The bad news is my husband eats what I eat and his god awful snoring has come back.

So, for the love of all sanity, I’ve put us back on the keto diet.  I don’t know what it is about keto that keeps my husband from snoring (or “snurken” in dutch), but there has to be something in the anti inflammatory element of the diet since he really hasn’t gained any weight since we stopped about 5 months ago.

Because I’m going back on, and I have a wealth of information about the keto diet, I’ll be making a section at the top of the site in the menu bar so you can find everything you want to know about the keto diet!
