First Time in Prague

It’s been a loooong time since I’ve made any posts about my post liposuction adventures! So here’s one about Prague!

Unfortunately, my main reason for going to Prague was to attend an industry convention for work, but I made sure that I had all my meetings concluded by about 5pm so I could go out with my husband and some friends of ours that were also attending the convention, in the evenings.

One of the evenings we went to a restaurant that served your drinks via train.

This is the place where I also discovered that I’m allergic to one of the red dyes used to turn maraschino cherries red… I had 2, one from my own ice cream and another from one of my friend’s.  We went to do a VR (virtual reality) escape room and half way through my palms started itching.  We could all see me scratching furiously during the game.  Afterwards, my arms, legs, stomach, chest, back started itching, by the time they got me back to the hotel my eyes were turning red and I was starting to get hives everywhere.

Luckily my husband had some allerclear on him and had me swallow a few.  Luckily within the hour the hives started going away and I did not have to experience the emergency room.

Fucking cherries.

Word got out and I had all sorts of people offering me cherries.  I love and hate the industry I work in.  I’m still getting messages asking if I want a cherry.

I will be going and getting allergy tested so I know what red dyes to stay away from.  It has to be something outside of what the EU.

The next evening we spent in some little local tavern, drinking local beers and eating Czech texmex.  That was a little odd.

Then the last evening one of the companies was hosting a river cruise.  That was outstanding!
